As we announced early last year, we have been hard at work, developing the next generation of our award-winning estimating software. With a SQL Server database backend, Sage Timberline Estimating is on track for a late Spring 2011 release. We will also continue to support your current version of our Estimating software for years to come, including an update scheduled for Fall 2011.

Here are some questions we have received from customers just like you:

  • If I decide I’d like to migrate to the new Sage Timberline Estimating solution, how can I do so?
    • If you are on a support plan, you can choose to either continue on your current Estimating software and receive updates as you do today, or you can opt to migrate to the new Sage Timberline Estimating software (SQL Express) for free.
  • Besides a SQL Server database, how is the new Sage Timberline Estimating different than my current Estimating software?
    • The new Sage Timberline Estimating solution will have an updated and modern user interface as well as some new features not in the current Estimating software.
  • What should I do if I want to migrate to the new Sage Timberline Estimating solution but am not currently on a support plan?
    • By signing up for a support plan today, you’ll be eligible for the free migration to the new Sage Timberline Estimating solution when it’s released in late Spring 2011.

If you're interested in learning more and would like to see a "sneak peek" at the new Sage Timberline Estimating product, we'll be conducting a 1 hour webinar presentation on March 15th at 9:00 a.m. PT. Click here and let us know you're interested in attending. We'll send you an email invitation and a reminder for the event. Don't forget to mark your calendars for this exciting and informative session.
