Knowledgebase subscriptions can automatically notify you when articles are updated. You can subscribe to the Year-End Information page—or any content in the Knowledgebase—to receive an e-mail when new information becomes available.

We recommend subscribing to the Year-End Information page so you're notified immediately when we post the tax updates. You can set your subscription to never expire so that you don't have to think about it year after year. We will continue to send software notices when tax updates are ready; choosing to set up a subscription is just an additional way for you to receive this notification.

Follow the steps below to subscribe to Knowledgebase content.

1. Search for information in the Knowledgebase. To find the Year-End Information page, search for year-end information.

2. Locate the item you want to subscribe to.

3. Click the Subscribe link to the right of the title.

4. Fill out the subscription options to select how often you'd like to receive notification.

Note: To receive the most up-to-the-minute notification regarding year-end information, select Daily. 

5. Click Save Subscription.

Use subscriptions as a favorites marker:
Subscriptions can save you time because they can serve as a favorites list, too. All of your subscriptions appear on the My Subscriptions tab in the portal, so you won't need to search for your articles again! Just log on to the portal and click Support > My Subscriptions to see your list. For subscriptions you set up to use only for a favorites list, set your Notification On setting to Creation to prevent receiving e-mail notifications.
